ASISTA Co-Directors Gail Pendleton and Sonia Parras will provide updates and practice pointers on VAWA self-petitions and U visas, based on recent meeting with CIS VSC supervisors and Headquarters decision makers. The presenters will identify and discuss strategies for cases involving unresolved policy and procedural issues and respond to questions from participants.

LEVEL: assumes basic knowledge of VAWA and U applications.
